We at FAHOT Believe that helping children and young adults tap into their passions by discouvering their talents is one of the greatest gifts anyone could wish to give. Talent discovery and nurturing is why we exist as an organisation.
We have been entrusted with the greatest task of nurturing children's positive self-esteem by helping them discover what they are good at doing. Part of a child's self esteem comes from feeling competent and skilled at something she or he enjoys.
Since children learn about the world in many different ways, we give them the opportunities to explore different objects, activities, and people. We encourage them to practice and exercise their talents so that their skills grow and improve.
From time to time we travel to other areas of the region and country to provide educational seminars and workshops for teachers, parents, and other adults interested in facilitating philosophical dialogues with young people.
It is very important that any spark of talent in children is nurtured from the get-go to mould it into an exceptional ability that won’t only benefit the child, the small unit of family but also the community as a whole.
“I’m very glad to have connected with Family Hope Foundation Tanzania. It has helped me grow my talents. Through the trainings I have received I can now benefit and serve those I love, as well as enjoying what I love doing ....”
“Family Hope Foundation Tanzania has run dozens of workshops in Dar es salaam and around the country for teachers, parents, and other adults interested in facilitating philosophical dialogues with young people. I was very delighted to have attended one of the workshop they provided. Their presentation was professional and engaging, it was a wonderful training opportunity for me.”
“We are so lucky to have had a member from Family Hope Foundation Tanzania come talk to our students. Our goal was to give students a new perspective on choosing right path for their career in education. They did that and so much more! .”
